Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the North Interior into the inland Pilbara, and will
deepen into the Gascoyne on Sunday and Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is developing south of the State. A surface trough
will develop off the west coast during Friday and Saturday as a high pressure
system moves into the Bight. The trough will deepen off the west coast on
Sunday, then move inland on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 23 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern Kimberley. Showers
possible over far southern parts of the Southwest Land Division east of Albany,
and through the Eucla and adjacent South Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 24 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern Kimberley. Showers
possible near the southern and Eucla coasts.

Forecast for Sunday 25 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern Kimberley. Showers
possible near the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Monday 26 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern and eastern Kimberley, and
northern and central parts of the Interior. Afternoon and evening thunderstorms
possible near the south coast between Albany and Esperance, with little to no
rainfall.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
