Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the Kimberley and extends along the Pilbara coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies near the south coast. A deepening surface trough lies from the
Gascoyne to the Eucla and will move east during Monday. Another trough develops
near the west coast later Monday before deepening and moving inland later
Tuesday as a new ridge of high pressure develops to the southwest of the State.
The surface trough through the Goldfields and Eucla on Wednesday will move east
as the ridge continues to build near the SW corner.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 12 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior, northeast Gascoyne, southeast
Pilbara, northeastern Goldfields and Eucla.

Forecast for Tuesday 13 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the South Interior, and east Goldfields. Showers
and possible thunderstorms over southern coastal districts, and the adjacent
Great Southern.

Forecast for Wednesday 14 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Goldfields, Interior and Eucla.
Showers about southern parts of the South West Land Division, with possible
thunderstorms during the morning.

Forecast for Thursday 15 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior and Eucla. Showers along the south
coast and adjacent inland parts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
