Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the Kimberley and extends along the Pilbara coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies over southern parts of the state. A deepening surface trough lies
from the Gascoyne to the Eucla and will move east on Monday. Another trough
develops near the west coast on Monday before moving inland later Tuesday as a
new ridge of high pressure develops to the southwest of the State.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 11 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior, northeast Gascoyne, southeast
Pilbara, eastern Goldfields and Eucla. Chance of a light shower near the
western south coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 13 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the South Interior, northeast Goldfields and
adjacent Gascoyne and Pilbara. Showers and possible thunderstorms over southern
coastal districts, the adjacent Great Southern and southern Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 14 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Interior and Eucla. Showers along
the south coast and possible near the Central West Coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
