Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the Kimberley and extends a broad trough over the Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge is developing over central parts of the South West Land Division,
before moving south of the State on Saturday whilst a surface trough develops
from the Gascoyne to the Eucla.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 9 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the central and eastern Kimberley, and the North
Interior. Chance of a light shower in the South West district.

Forecast for Saturday 10 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the central Kimberley, Interior, eastern
Goldfields, and Eucla. Chance of a light shower near the western south coast.

Forecast for Sunday 11 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior, northeast Gascoyne, southeast
Pilbara, eastern Goldfields and Eucla. Chance of a light shower near the
western south coast.

Forecast for Monday 12 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior, northeast Gascoyne, southeast
Pilbara, northeastern Goldfields and Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
