Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Kimberley to the far eastern Pilbara and North
Interior. The trough will continue to deepen and move east during Saturday to
lie over the northeastern Kimberley by Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will develop near the south coast on Saturday with a
cold southerly flow along the south coast. Another cold front will brush the
south coast on Sunday before a large high pressure system moves south of the
State on Monday. A mid-level disturbance develop over the Goldfields and
adjacent parts during Monday and Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 3 October
Showers over the eastern and southern parts of the South West Land Division.
Rain areas in the Eucla. Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over the
north and east Kimberley, Interior, Goldfields, and Eucla. Morning showers
about the west coast south of Geraldton. Small hail possible near the south
coast in the morning.

Forecast for Sunday 4 October
Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over the north and east Kimberley and
the Interior. Showers over southern districts and near west coastal parts of
the South West Land Division and over the Eucla. Morning frost in the Central
Wheat Belt. Possible thunderstorms about the South East Coastal and eastern
South Coastal districts.

Forecast for Monday 5 October
Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over the north and east Kimberley and
far northeast Interior. Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over the
Eucla, far southern Interior and adjacent Goldfields. Coastal showers in the
South Coastal. Morning frost in the southwest Central Wheat Belt and the
adjacent Great Southern.

Forecast for Tuesday 6 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley. Showers over the
South Interior, adjacent Goldfields, Eucla and adjacent Southeast Coastal
district.
