Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Kimberley to central parts of the Pilbara. The
trough will deepen during Friday and move into the North Interior by Saturday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extends from the Gascoyne into the Goldfields and western Eucla and
will contract east during Friday and Saturday. A cold front will move over the
South West Land Division during Friday. A ridge of high pressure will then
develop near the south coast on Saturday with a cold southerly flow along the
south coast. Another cold front will brush the south coast on Sunday. A large
high pressure system will move south of the State on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 2 October
Showers southwest of a line Lancelin to Hopetoun, extending to remaining parts
southwest of Denham to Israelite Bay during the day. A chance of afternoon or
evening thunderstorms and small hail over the southern South West and western
South Coastal districts. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and the
north and east Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 3 October
Showers over the eastern and southern parts of the South West Land Division,
southern Goldfields and Eucla. Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over
the north and east Kimberley, Interior, Goldfields, and Eucla. Morning showers
about the west coast south of Geraldton. Morning frost in the southwest Central
Wheat Belt and the adjacent Great Southern.

Forecast for Sunday 4 October
Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over the north and east Kimberley and
the Interior. Showers over southern districts and near west coastal parts of
the South West Land Division and over the Eucla. Morning frost in the Central
Wheat Belt. Possible thunderstorm about the South East Coastal district.

Forecast for Monday 5 October
Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over the north and east Kimberley and
the Interior. Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over the South East
Coastal district, Goldfields, Eucla, and the adjacent South Interior. Coastal
showers in the South Coastal. Morning frost in the southwest Central Wheat Belt
and the adjacent Great Southern.
