Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the North Interior and extends through inland parts of the
Kimberley and into the eastern Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A surface trough lies over eastern parts of the State, and a weak cold front
will move over the southwest of the State during Monday. During Tuesday and
Wednesday a ridge will extend across the central and northern parts of the
South West Land Division. A trough will extend from the Pilbara into the
Gascoyne by Wednesday and extend further through the Goldfields and western
Eucla by Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 28 September
Showers and thunderstorms over northern and eastern parts of the Kimberley, the
Interior and eastern Eucla. Showers over the southern and western parts of the
South West Land Division, contracting to the coast in the evening. A possible
storm about southern parts of the Southwest district during the morning,
extending to coastal parts west of Esperance in the afternoon and evening. Very
windy, hot and dry conditions through the northern and central Interior, with
possible raised dust.

Forecast for Tuesday 29 September
Showers southwest of a line Lancelin to Albany. Showers and thunderstorms over
northern and eastern parts of the Kimberley. Showers and thunderstorms possible
through the eastern Interior, clearing during the morning.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 September
Showers southwest of a line Perth to Albany. Afternoon and evening showers and
thunderstorms over the north Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 1 October
Showers southwest of a line Perth to Albany. Afternoon and evening showers and
thunderstorms over the northeast Kimberley.
