Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies inland from the Kimberley and Pilbara coasts and extends
into western parts of the Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A moderate cold front lies over southwestern parts of the State and will move
over the remaining South West Land Division during Thursday with a prefrontal
trough moving east through central and eastern parts ahead of the front. A
ridge develops near the south coast in the wake of the front on Friday and
remains near the south coast over the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 10 September
Showers over southern and western parts of the South West Land Division,
southern Goldfields and the adjacent Eucla, easing and contracting to the
southwestern coasts by the evening.

Forecast for Friday 11 September
Showers southwest of a line Bunbury to Albany. Showers possible over the
eastern parts of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and Eucla.

Forecast for Saturday 12 September
Showers southwest of a line SW Capes to Albany. Showers possible over the
eastern parts of the South East Coastal, southern Goldfields and Eucla.

Forecast for Sunday 13 September
Showers along the coast between SW Capes and Albany.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
