Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the western Kimberley through to near the Pilbara
coast and to central parts of the State. Hot conditions continuing.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge is near the south coast and a high pressure system will
move into the Bight today. A weak cold front will move over southwestern parts
of the South West Land Division during Friday afternoon and evening, extending
across the south coast on Saturday as a ridge builds over the southwest.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 27 August
Possible shower near the western south coast.

Forecast for Friday 28 August
Showers developing about the Southwest district during the day, extending to a
line southwest of Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay by midnight. Only light falls
expected to penetrate to inland parts.

Forecast for Saturday 29 August
Showers southwest of a line from Geraldton to Ravensthorpe to Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Sunday 30 August
Clear conditions over most parts. Slight chance of a shower near the SW Capes
late Sunday night.
