Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A large high pressure system is moving into the the Bight with a fresh burst of
east to southeasterly winds along the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts. The high
will then move over eastern Australia early next week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system lies in the Bight with a weak cold front expected to
stall and then dissipate over southern parts today. Another cold front will
move over the southwest during Monday afternoon and evening. This front will
weaken early Tuesday morning as a ridge of high pressure develops over southern
parts of the State.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 26 July
Showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Norseman to Israelite Bay,
clearing most parts by late morning. Showers likely to linger in the Lower West
and adjacent parts during the afternoon evening.

Forecast for Monday 27 July
Showers developing southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Hopetoun during the day.
Moderate falls possible in the Southwest district, with lighter falls further
north and east.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 July
Showers over southern districts, contracting to the southeast coast by sunrise.
Showers lingering along the west coast between Shark Bay and Jurien Bay until
the middle of the day.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 July
Morning showers possible near the south coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
