Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak ridge develops over central parts on Wednesday and Thursday. East to
southeasterly winds freshening later Friday and During Saturday along the
Pilbara coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge will develop over central parts of the State on Wednesday. A cold
front and middle level cloud band will develop over western parts of the State
during Thursday and extend east during Friday. A ridge will develop over
central parts of the State on Saturday with a showery westerly flow continuing
over southern districts.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 15 July
Showers near the west coast south of Dongara and the south coast west of Albany.

Forecast for Thursday 16 July
Showers with a cold front passing over western parts of the South West Land
Division during the day as a rain band extends over the western Gascoyne and
the far north of the South West Land Division. The rain band and cold front
moving east through central and eastern parts of the South West Land Division
Thursday night. Thunderstorms possible over southern parts of the South West
Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 17 July
A rain band over eastern parts of the South West Land Division, western
Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla easing and contracting east during the
day. Cold and showery over the remaining parts of the South West Land Division
easing and contracting to coastal areas in the evening. Possible thunderstorms
in the South West, Lower West and South East Coastal districts.

Forecast for Saturday 18 July
Showers near the west coast and over southern coastal districts and the
adjacent Great Southern.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
