Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weakening ridge over central parts of the State with a weakening
southeasterly flow for the weekend. A trough develops near the Pilbara coast on
Monday as a series of fronts move over southern districts. Generally light
winds and coastal sea breezes on Sunday and Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will cross the southwest of the state today morning before a
stronger cold front crosses the south of state from tonight through Monday. A
new ridge will develop through central parts of the state on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 28 June
Showers throughout the South West Land Division, southwest Goldfields, southern
and western parts of Gascoyne and extending to the western Eucla in the
evening. Moderate to heavy falls about the Lower West and South West districts.
Thunderstorms possible about areas southwest of a line from Geraldton to
Kalgoorlie to Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Monday 29 June
Gusty showers and thunderstorms over the South West Land Division, southern
Gascoyne and southern Goldfields, easing and slowly contracting to coastal
parts during the afternoon and evening. Showers over remaining areas southwest
of a line from Exmouth to Leonora to Eucla, contracting to the south coast in
the late afternoon and evening. Moderate to heavy falls over western parts in
the early morning.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 June
Showers over the South West Land Division, mainly in the west and south.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, mainly in the west and south.
Possible thunderstorms near the Esperance coast in the morning.
