Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will weaken today as a trough moves east through the
Pilbara and a cold front moves over southern parts. A ridge of high pressure
develops in the wake of the front over the south of the State on Wednesday and
Thursday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front and trough will move across the southern parts of the State today.
Another ridge will then develop over southern parts of the state on Wednesday
and Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 23 June
Showers southwest of a line Geraldton to Bremer Bay to Israelite Bay
contracting to coastal areas by Tuesday evening. Possible thunderstorms near
coastal areas south of Lancelin and along the south coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 24 June
Showers over western and southern parts of the SW Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 25 June
Showers over the South West and about the south coast.

Forecast for Friday 26 June
Showers extending to southwest of a line Kalbarri to Israelite Bay by evening.
Moderate falls in the west with thunderstorms possible south of Geraldton.
Light falls over eastern parts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
