Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge extends from southeastern Australia across WA which will weaken today.
A low pressure trough lies over the far west Pilbara before moving eastwards
during today and weakens over the central Pilbara on Saturday. A ridge will
develop over the southern parts of the State from Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will move over southern parts of the state during today. A ridge
develops over central parts of the state on Saturday and remains there until
early next week.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 12 June
Showers southwest of a line Karratha to Warburton, easing from the west during
the day. Thunderstorms possible south of a line Lancelin to Kalgoorlie to
Forrest, clearing from the west during the day. Small hail is also possible
about southern coastal districts between Margaret River and Bremer Bay. Showers
and thunderstorms possibly gusty southwest of Lancelin to Merredin to Israelite
Bay.

Forecast for Saturday 13 June
Showers near coastal parts of the Southwest Land Division and adjacent inland
southwest areas. Showers also near the Eucla coast, South Interior and Central
Pilbara.

Forecast for Sunday 14 June
Showers southwest of Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay to Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Monday 15 June
Showers near the west coast south of Lancelin and along the south coast and
also the adjacent inland areas.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
