Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A strong ridge of high pressure over southern Australia will persist over the coming days, weakening slightly early next week. A low pressure trough will lie over the west Pilbara from Sunday, weakening by Wednesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong high pressure system lies in the Bight and is gradually moving eastwards, reaching southeast Australia during Monday. A weak low pressure system and trough is lying near the west coast and will remain near stationary today before moving off the west coast and weakening further on Monday and Tuesday. A cold front starts to approach the west coast later Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 7 June
Showers about coastal and adjacent inland parts between Shark Bay and Denmark, most likely in the morning. The risk of thunderstorms near the coast and areas southwest of Mandurah to Walpole, most likely in the morning.

Forecast for Monday 8 June
Showers southwest of Busselton to Albany.

Forecast for Tuesday 9 June
Showers southwest of Busselton to Albany. Areas of morning frost western Goldfields, southern Interior and the Eucla.

Forecast for Wednesday 10 June
Showers southwest of Kalbarri to Bremer Bay. Areas of morning frost over the southern Interior and the Eucla.
