Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A strong ridge of high pressure over southern Australia will persist over the
coming days. A low pressure trough will lie over the west Pilbara on Sunday and
Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong high pressure cell lies south of the State and will gradually move
eastwards reaching southeast Australia by Monday. A weak low pressure system
and trough will approach the west coast later on Saturday and sit near the
coast on Sunday. The trough will then push back off the west coast on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 5 June
Showers possible over southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Saturday 6 June
Showers southwest of Lancelin and Albany, most likely later in the day. The
chance of thunderstorms near the southwest Capes in the evening. Possible
morning showers about the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Sunday 7 June
Showers about coastal and adjacent inland parts between Shark Bay and Albany
and the chance of morning thunderstorms near the coast.

Forecast for Monday 8 June
Showers southwest of Busselton to Albany.
