Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is building over southern parts of the state before
contracting towards the southeast from Tuesday. Fresh east to southeasterly
winds are expected to return today as the ridge strengthens. A trough may
develop well off the Northwest Cape later today and during Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is building over southern parts of the state. A high
pressure cell will move into the Bight on Tuesday. The ridge will contract
eastwards on Wednesday as a trough develops off the west coast. This weak
trough will move through the South West Land Division on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 1 June
Showers near the south and Eucla coasts.

Forecast for Tuesday 2 June
Showers near the south and Eucla coasts with late showers developing along the
west coast south of Geraldton. Showers and patchy rain possible for the far
eastern Pilbara and northwest Gascoyne. Early showers possible near the south
coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 3 June
Showers possible over western parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 4 June
Showers about western parts of the South West Land Division, with a risk of
thunderstorms along the south coast west of Bremer Bay.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
