Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over southern parts of the State will bring fresh and gusty easterly
winds during the next few mornings.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strengthening high pressure system is developing south of the State and will
move slowly east into the Bight during Friday and Saturday. A cold front will
approach the State during Sunday before moving across southwestern parts on
Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 1 May
Mostly sunny across the state, apart from some areas of raised dust over the
Central West in the morning. Windy through northern and western parts of the
State in the morning.

Forecast for Saturday 2 May
Mostly sunny across the State. Windy over northern parts in the morning.

Forecast for Sunday 3 May
Showers developing near the SW Capes in the morning and extending to areas
southwest of a line from Lancelin to Walpole in the evening. Chance of a
thunderstorm in the South West district in the evening.

Forecast for Monday 4 May
Showers and possible thunderstorms extending across the South West Land
Division during the day, reaching areas southwest of a line from Kalbarri to
Southern Cross to Esperance in the evening. Moderate falls possible southwest
of a line from Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay, grading to lighter falls further north
and east.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
