Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over southern parts of the State will move a trough offshore from the
Pilbara and southwest Kimberley coasts over the next few mornings. The ridge
will strengthen further on Thursday leading to cooler and drier east to
southeasterly winds through the North Interior and inland Pilbara regions.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strengthening high pressure system is developing over southern districts and
will move south of the State during today before moving very slowly east during
Thursday and Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 29 April
Showers along the south coast east of Hopetoun and near the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Thursday 30 April
Showers possible over the eastern Eucla coast. Windy through the Pilbara,
Gascoyne, Interior and southern parts of the Kimberley district.

Forecast for Friday 1 May
Mostly clear throughout the state. Windy through the Pilbara, Gascoyne,
Interior and southern parts of the Kimberley district.

Forecast for Saturday 2 May
Chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm near the northwest Kimberley
coast.
