Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough is expected to persist near the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts over
the next few days, however it will push off of the eastern Pilbara and
southwest Kimberley coast for a period over the next couple of mornings.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is developing near the south coast, with a cloud band in central parts
of the State contract east early on Sunday. Late Monday a weak cold front will
reach the western south coast. During Tuesday morning the cold front will move
along the south coast and will then be followed by a high pressure system that
will move to the south of the State on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 26 April
Showers about the south coast, and Eucla. A chance of a shower about the
Southern Interior, most likely in the early morning.

Forecast for Monday 27 April
Chance of showers or thunderstorm over the inland Gascoyne, northern Goldfields
and South Interior. Evening showers near the western south coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 April
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts, easing during the day. Early
showers possible along the west coast south of Lancelin.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 April
Showers possible along the south coast east of Hopetoun and near the Eucla
coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
