Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough lies over the inland Kimberley and Pilbara and will
persist for the next few days. The trough will move off the Kimberley and east
and central Pilbara coast for periods over the next few mornings.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A surface trough extends from the Goldfields to the Eucla contracting east on
Wednesday. A cold front is expected to reach the southwest of the State
Wednesday morning, with a ridge of high pressure developing from Wednesday
evening through to Friday. A trough will begin to form near the west coast from
Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 14 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the far north and west Kimberley and over the
central and western Pilbara and the adjacent Gascoyne. Light showers possible
southwest of Lancelin to Kojonup to Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Wednesday 15 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the west Kimberley coast and the inland west
Pilbara. Showers and thunderstorms over the Goldfields, southern Gascoyne and
Eucla, contracting east during the day. Showers from Busselton to Kojonup to
Esperance, easing later in the day.

Forecast for Thursday 16 April
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the far west Kimberley and inland west
Pilbara. Morning light showers or drizzle possible near the south coast.

Forecast for Friday 17 April
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the far west Kimberley and inland west
Pilbara.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
