Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough extends through the inland Pilbara and Kimberley. The trough will move off the Kimberley and east and central Pilbara coast for periods over the next few mornings.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system is moving eastwards through the Bight. A trough inland from the west coast is moving eastwards ahead of a weak cold front that will brush the southwest corner of the State during this morning. The trough will deepen over eastern parts of the State during Monday and Tuesday as a series of weak fronts brush the southwest corner. A stronger front will move over the southwest of the State on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 12 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley and the northeast Pilbara. Light showers extending to areas southwest of Jurien Bay to Hopetoun with little if any rainfall expected through inland parts.

Forecast for Monday 13 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley and Pilbara. Light showers possible southwest of Jurien Bay to Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Tuesday 14 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the far north and west Kimberley, Pilbara and the adjacent Gascoyne. Light showers possible southwest of Lancelin to Israelite Bay, with a chance of thunderstorms over eastern parts of the South West Land Division and the adjacent Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 15 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and the adjacent South Interior district. Showers over southern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
