Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough extends through the inland Pilbara and Kimberley.
The trough will drift off of the Kimberley and Pilbara coasts for periods over
the next few mornings.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong high lies well south of the Bight. A deepening trough off the west
coast will move inland from late Wednesday. The trough will redevelop off of
the west coast early Saturday before moving inland later in the day as a low to
the southwest of the State nears.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 8 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara,
Interior and far northeast Gascoyne.

Forecast for Thursday 9 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central Pilbara and the adjacent
Gascoyne. Showers developing about the southwest Capes and south coast west of
Walpole.

Forecast for Friday 10 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the central and north Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 11 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Chance of a shower near the
Southwest Capes.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
