Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough extends through the Pilbara and North Interior and will contract north to the Kimberley by Sunday. The trough will move off the west Pilbara coast for a period during the morning over the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is strengthening to the south of the State and a strong high will move south of the Bight on Tuesday, strengthening the ridge over southeastern parts of the State. A trough off the west coast will deepen further during Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 5 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley. Showers with the chance of a thunderstorm over the Gascoyne, inland Central West district and northern parts of the Central Wheat Belt. Light falls anticipated.

Forecast for Monday 6 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, western Interior, inland Gascoyne, east Central Wheat Belt and far northern Goldfields.

Forecast for Tuesday 7 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara, western Interior, northeast Gascoyne and northern Goldfields. Light showers about the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 8 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior and adjacent Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
