Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough extends through the Kimberley and Pilbara and into the North Interior. The trough will move very little over the coming days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system lies south of the State and a low pressure trough extends off the west coast. The trough will remain near stationary for the next few days before moving over the west coast on Thursday and further inland on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 23 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, west Pilbara and adjacent Gascoyne, eastern Goldfields, southern Interior and Eucla . Showers through eastern parts of the South East Coastal district.

Forecast for Tuesday 24 March
Afternoon showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, west Pilbara, west Gascoyne and northern parts of the Central West. Showers about the Eucla and far eastern parts of the South East Coastal districts. Morning drizzle through the South Interior and eastern Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 25 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, west Pilbara, west Gascoyne and northern parts of the South West Land Division. Possible light patchy rain and the chance of thunderstorms over southern parts of the Central West, the Lower West and adjacent parts of the Great Southern and Central Wheat Belt. Morning showers about the Eucla.

Forecast for Thursday 26 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, southern Gascoyne and inland parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 27 March
Showers and thunderstorms about coastal parts of the Kimberley. Possible showers and storms about south coastal districts between Albany and Israelite Bay. Showers elsewhere in south coastal districts. Possible evening drizzle on the west coast south of Geraldton.
