Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough extends through the Kimberley and Pilbara and down into the Interior. The trough will move very little over the coming days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is developing south of the State as a trough develops near the west coast. The trough deepens further on Friday before moving offshore on Sunday and Monday as a high moves into the Bight.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 20 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley. Rain with possible thunderstorms over the southern Goldfields, Eucla and adjacent South East Coastal district. Showers about the western south coast.

Forecast for Saturday 21 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, southwest Pilbara and inland central parts of the South West Land Division. Areas of rain over the South East Coastal, western Interior, eastern Goldfields and Eucla. Showers about the south coast.

Forecast for Sunday 22 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, southwest Pilbara, northwest Gascoyne, central and northern Goldfield, southwest Interior and inland central parts of the South West Land Division. Rain and possible thunderstorms over the South East Coastal, southeastern Goldfields and Eucla. Showers about the south coast.

Forecast for Monday 23 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, southwest Pilbara and adjacent Gascoyne, southern Goldfield, southwest Interior, and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Rain and possible thunderstorms over the Eucla.

Forecast for Tuesday 24 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, southwest Pilbara and adjacent Gascoyne, southern South Interior, Eucla and adjacent South East Coastal.
