Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough extends from the Pilbara coast to the North Interior and will remain near stationary over the next few days.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system lies in the Bight, with a trough down the west coast. Little change is expected in the pattern over the coming days.
Forecast for the rest of Thursday 20 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, northern half of the South West Land Division, far northern Goldfields and western parts of the Interior.
Forecast for Friday 21 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Central West, far northern Goldfields and western Interior.
Forecast for Saturday 22 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, Pilbara, western Interior, Gascoyne, the South West Land Division and western Goldfields.
Forecast for Sunday 23 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, inland Pilbara, western Interior, inland Gascoyne, the South West Land Division, Goldfields and western Eucla.
Forecast for Monday 24 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, inland Pilbara, far western Interior, Gascoyne, the South West Land Division and Goldfields.
