Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia 
A surface trough lies through the Pilbara and Northern Interior, and will push 
towards the Pilbara coast during Tuesday. 

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia 
A ridge lies to the south of the State. A trough will deepen near the west 
coast during Tuesday, and then linger near the west coast throughout the week. 

Forecast for the rest of Monday 17 February 
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northern and 
eastern Gascoyne, Interior and the northern Goldfields. 

Forecast for Tuesday 18 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Interior, 
Gascoyne and northwestern parts of the South West Land Division. 

Forecast for Wednesday 19 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, 
western Interior, South West Land Division and adjacent the Goldfields. 

Forecast for Thursday 20 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne, 
northwestern half of the South West Land Division and far northern Goldfields. 

Forecast for Friday 21 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, North Interior, 
Gascoyne, northwestern parts of the South West Land Division and far northern 
Goldfields. 

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
