Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A generally westerly flow persists over northern parts of the State. A surface trough lies through the Pilbara and Northern Interior, and will push towards the Pilbara coast early next week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep surface trough inland from the west coast will move eastwards overnight Saturday and Sunday. A weak cold front will brush the southwest corner on Sunday and then a new ridge will build in its wake from Monday. Another trough develops off the west coast later on Monday and into Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 15 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, northern Interior, Goldfields, eastern parts of the South West Land Division and the far western Eucla. Light showers or drizzle possible over western and southwest coastal parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 16 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northeastern Gascoyne, northern and western Interior, eastern Goldfields and Eucla. Showers about the southern parts of the South West Land Division, and the chance of a thunderstorm in the far east of the South East Coastal district. Early morning drizzle near the Lower West coast.

Forecast for Monday 17 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northeastern Gascoyne, northern and western Interior and the northern and eastern Goldfields. Morning thunderstorms possible over the Eucla. Morning showers over the South East Coastal district.

Forecast for Tuesday 18 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, north and west Interior, northern and western Gascoyne and the adjacent Central West.

Forecast for Wednesday 19 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara and Gascoyne, South West Land Division and adjacent Goldfields.
