Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the inland Pilbara to the central Kimberley. A tropical low will move westwards through the northern Kimberley on Monday and Tuesday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong ridge of high pressure moves south of the State today allowing a surface trough to develop near the west coast. The trough moves offshore of the west coast on Monday and will deepen further into Tuesday. The trough will move inland on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 2 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, North Interior and the northeastern Gascoyne. Light showers possible along the south coast east of Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Monday 3 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland western Pilbara, western Gascoyne and Central West. Light morning showers along the Eucla coast. Heavy falls possible over the northeast Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 4 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland west Pilbara, western Gascoyne and inland northern parts of the Southwest Land Division. Squally winds and heavy falls possible over the northern Kimberley. The chance of a shower or thunderstorm for southern and western parts of the Southwest Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 5 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley with squally winds and heavy falls possible over the northwestern Kimberley. The chance of a shower or thunderstorm over southern and western parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 6 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and northern Interior. The chance of a shower or thunderstorm over mostly central and southern parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
