Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the inland Pilbara to the North Interior. The eastern branch of the trough will move into the southern Kimberley on Saturday.
The trough extends inland of the Pilbara and Kimberley coast from Sunday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure extends along the south coast and will build further over the weekend. The ridge will move south of the State on Sunday allowing a surface trough to develop near the west coast. The trough move offshore of the west coast on Monday and will deepen further into Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 31 January
Showers and thunderstorms over eastern parts of the Interior. Light showers along southern coastal districts west of Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Saturday 1 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Kimberley and northeast Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 2 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, North Interior and adjacent Gascoyne.

Forecast for Monday 3 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Gascoyne and Central West. Light morning showers along the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 4 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland west Pilbara, Gascoyne, Central West, Lower West, Great Southern, South West and South Coastal district. Light showers along the Eucla coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Saturday.
