Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the inland Pilbara to the North Interior and will move north into the southern Kimberley on Saturday. The trough extends inland of the Pilbara and Kimberley coast from Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep trough over the South Interior will continue to move east into South Australia on Friday, while a cold front moves into the Bight. A new ridge then develops to the south of the State on Friday and strengthens over the weekend. A trough develops down the west coast from Sunday and deepens on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 30 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northeastern parts of the Interior. Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 31 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far north Pilbara and eastern parts of the Interior. Possible showers along the south coast west of Israelite Bay, most likely during the morning.

Forecast for Saturday 1 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley, North Interior and adjacent eastern Pilbara and the far northeast of the South Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 2 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and adjacent Gascoyne, North Interior and adjacent South Interior.

Forecast for Monday 3 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, North Interior and Central West. Light morning showers along the south coast east of Bremer Bay.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Friday.
