Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the inland Pilbara to the North Interior which will persist over the coming days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies south of the State. A broad trough lies inland from the west coast and will slowly deepen during Sunday and Monday, dragging a very hot airmass south. The trough will move east on Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of a cold front that will reach he southwest corner Wednesday night.

Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and North Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 26 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and North Interior. Light morning showers about the south coast between Albany and Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Monday 27 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, and far northwest Interior. Light showers possible near the western south coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and far northeast Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and eastern parts of the Interior. Late showers possible over the Southwest district.
