Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough lies inland from the Pilbara coast, pushing offshore on Saturday and Sunday. A tropical low could develop over the waters adjacent to the northern Kimberley during Sunday.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies over eastern parts of the South West Land Division and will continue east on Friday to be over the Eucla in the morning and shifting north into the Interior in the afternoon and evening. A ridge develops through southern parts of the State in the wake of the trough. A weak front brushes the southwest of the State on Sunday.

Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla, and inland parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Friday 27 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, inland Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and Eucla.
Forecast for Saturday 28 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior and northeast Gascoyne. Light showers near the western south coast.
Forecast for Sunday 29 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, northeast Gascoyne and far northeast Goldfields. Moderate to heavy rainfall possible about the north Kimberley coast. Light showers about coastal parts between Jurien Bay and Bremer Bay, clearing in the evening.
Forecast for Monday 30 December
Possible light shower about the south coast between Augusta and Bremer Bay. Possible light shower during the morning between Lancelin and Geraldton. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, east Pilbara and Interior.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Friday.
