Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough lies over the north of the State.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure cell lies in the Bight with a trough near the west coast. The high will weaken and a trough near the west coast will move east during Thursday and Friday. A ridge will develop near the south coast on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 25 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and mainly inland parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 26 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, North Interior, Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla, and inland parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 27 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, inland Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and Eucla.

Forecast for Saturday 28 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior and northeast Gascoyne. Light showers near the western south coast.

Forecast for Sunday 29 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, northeast Gascoyne and far northern Goldfields
