Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough lies over the north of the State.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure cell will form in the Bight with a trough developing near the west coast later on Tuesday and during Wednesday. The trough near the west coast will move east on Thursday and Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 24 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne, Eucla, Goldfields and northeastern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 25 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and inland parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 26 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, northern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 27 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Light showers near the western south coast.

Forecast for Saturday 28 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, northeast Gascoyne, Goldfields, and Eucla. Light showers near the western south coast.
