Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough lies over the north of the State.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies south of the State and a broad area of low pressure lies through inland parts. A high pressure cell will form in the Bight with another trough set to develop near the west coast later on Tuesday and Wednesday. The trough near the west coast will move east on Thursday and Friday as the high moves out of the Bight.

Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and eastern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 24 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne, Eucla, Goldfields and northeastern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 25 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and inland parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 26 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and northern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 27 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla and eastern parts of the South West Land Division.
