Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure lies over the central and eastern Pilbara, Interior and Kimberley.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is developing near the south coast, with a trough developing near the west coast during Saturday. The trough will then move east during Sunday and Monday into the Goldfields and Gascoyne and further east on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 20 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara, Interior, northeast Gascoyne and northeastern Goldfields.

Forecast for Saturday 21 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, inland Gascoyne, Central Wheat Belt, central Gascoyne and the northern Goldfields.

Forecast for Sunday 22 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara,central and eastern Interior, eastern Gascoyne, western Goldfields, western Eucla and eastern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 23 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara, Interior, eastern Gascoyne and Goldfields.

Forecast for Tuesday 24 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior and northeast Gascoyne.
