Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure lies over northern parts of the State. On Thursday a ridge will develop over central parts of the State and extend and drift towards the south coast on Friday as a trough develops over the eastern Pilbara and extends into the Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad trough lies over southern parts of the State and will move eastwards on Thursday as a weak cold front crosses the southwest. A ridge will begin to develop along the south coast on Friday before a new trough develops near the west coast on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 17 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, northeastern Pilbara, eastern Goldfields, Eucla and the adjacent South East Coastal district.

Forecast for Wednesday 18 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior, northeast Gascoyne, northeast Eucla and the Goldfields.

Forecast for Thursday 19 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, east Pilbara, Interior, Goldfields, Eucla, northeast Gascoyne and eastern South West Land Division. Showers developing southwest of a line from Geraldton to Bremer Bay, clearing to the south coast in the evening.

Forecast for Friday 20 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara, Interior, northeast Gascoyne, eastern Goldfields and Eucla. Showers possible about the south coast west of Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Saturday 21 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, eastern Gascoyne and the northern Goldfields.
