Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough lies near the west Kimberley and Pilbara coasts and will migrate to the inland Pilbara and Kimberley during Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep trough near the west coast will move inland during Sunday. The trough will branch from the west coast through to the Goldfields and to southeast coast on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday a broad trough will lie over the South West Land Division. A weak cold front will move over the southwest during Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 14 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and the Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 15 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, Interior, Goldfields and northeastern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 16 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior, Goldfields, Eucla, eastern parts of the South West Land Division and the eastern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Tuesday 17 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, eastern Pilbara, Eucla and the adjacent South East Coastal district.

Forecast for Wednesday 18 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, and the adjacent eastern Pilbara.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
