Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough lies inland from the west Kimberley and Pilbara coasts, moving offshore for a period on Thursday and Friday morning.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A surface trough lies down the west coast and will deepen during Wednesday. The surface trough will move off the west coast on Thursday as a high pressure system moves into the Bight. The trough will broaden and move just inland from the west coast during Friday and into Saturday.

Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara, northern Interior, eastern Gascoyne and far northern Goldfields.
Forecast for Wednesday 11 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields and northern parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Thursday 12 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior, Pilbara, and Gascoyne.
Forecast for Friday 13 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Pilbara, and northern parts of the Gascoyne.
Forecast for Saturday 14 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and northern Interior.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
