Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies inland from the west Kimberley and Pilbara coasts.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad heat trough lies near the west coast. It will deepen off the west coast on Friday morning then move east during Friday afternoon and on Saturday. A weak cold front will brush the southwest corner of the State on Saturday afternoon.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 3 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley. Showers and thunderstorms also possible over inland parts parts of the South West Land Division, the southern Gascoyne and the adjacent Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 4 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley and far northeastern Pilbara. Chance of showers and thunderstorms over inland parts of the South West Land Division, southern and eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields and western Eucla, mostly during the afternoon and early evening.

Forecast for Thursday 5 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, inland Pilbara, west Interior, inland Gascoyne, the Goldfields and over northeastern parts of the South West Land Division, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, inland Pilbara and western Interior. Possible light showers about the south coast.

Forecast for Friday 6 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, western Goldfields, western Interior, and parts of the South West Land Division away from the west coast.

Forecast for Saturday 7 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, South Interior, Goldfields, Eucla, and central and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers developing over areas southwest of a line from Perth to Bremer Bay during the day.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
