Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough pushes offshore from the west Kimberley and Pilbara coasts for a period during Tuesday morning. It then remains inland for the remainder of the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong high pressure ridge lies south of the State. A trough will is deepening near the west coast and will move inland on Wednesday. Another trough will begin developing near the west coast on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 2 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 3 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley. Chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms over western and central inland parts parts of the South West Land Division and the southern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Wednesday 4 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley and far eastern Pilbara. Chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms over inland parts of the South West Land Division, southern Gascoyne, Goldfields and western Eucla.

Forecast for Thursday 5 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley. Chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms over northeastern parts of the South West Land Division, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, inland Pilbara and western Interior. Possible light showers about the south coast.

Forecast for Friday 6 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, western Goldfields, western Interior, and inland from the west coast over the South West Land Division. Possible light showers about the south coast east of Esperance during the morning.
