Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies inland from the Pilbara coast and extends to the central Kimberley and will push offshore from the west Kimberley and Pilbara coasts for a period during Monday morning.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong high pressure ridge lies south of the state. A trough will start to develop near the west coast on Monday and deepen on Tuesday before moving inland on Wednesday. Another trough will begin developing near the west coast on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 1 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley, western Pilbara and northwestern Gascoyne. Showers near the south coast east of Albany.

Forecast for Monday 2 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley. Showers near the south coast and adjacent parts east of Albany.

Forecast for Tuesday 3 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley. Chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms over western and central inland parts parts of the South West Land Division and the southern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Wednesday 4 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley. Chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms over inland parts of the South West Land Division, southern Gascoyne and the southwest Goldfields.

Forecast for Thursday 5 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley. Chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms over northeastern parts of the South West Land Division, eastern Gascoyne and the southwest Goldfields.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
