Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the inland Pilbara and North Interior, and will slowly move northwards over the next couple of days. The trough will move offshore from the Pilbara coast from Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong high pressure ridge is developing south of the state. A broad trough lies over central parts of the State and will contract northwards during the remainder of Friday and Saturday as the ridge strengthens to the south. A trough will start to develop off the west coast from Monday and deepens on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 29 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Interior, northern and eastern Gascoyne, and far northern Goldfields. Slight chance of showers near the south coast.

Forecast for Saturday 30 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior, inland Pilbara and the northern Gascoyne. Possible showers about the Eucla coast in the morning.

Forecast for Sunday 1 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, western Pilbara and northwestern Gascoyne. Showers about the south coast east of Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Monday 2 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Showers near the south coast east of Walpole.

Forecast for Tuesday 3 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far eastern Pilbara and far northwest Interior. Chance of afternoon thunderstorms over western inland parts parts of the Southwest Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Saturday.
