Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over northern inland parts.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A surface trough is deepening through the Goldfields and Eucla and will move east later today before a new ridge develops near the southwest coast. The ridge extends along the south coast on Monday and Tuesday. A broad trough will develop through central parts of the state on Tuesday and Wednesday and contract northwards on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 24 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Interior, northeast Gascoyne, northeast Goldfields and the Eucla. Showers along the south coast between Margaret River and Hopetoun.

Forecast for Monday 25 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Interior and the northeast Gascoyne. Showers along the south coast east of Hopetoun and over the Eucla.

Forecast for Tuesday 26 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara, central and northern Interior, inland Gascoyne and the northern Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 27 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara, Interior, inland Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and northern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers along the south coast and adjacent parts between Augusta and Esperance.

Forecast for Thursday 28 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Interior, northern Eucla and northeastern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers over remaining central and eastern parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
