Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the Pilbara into the Kimberley and will contract towards the eastern Pilbara on Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies near the south coast with a broad trough over the Gascoyne. The trough will extend into the Goldfields on Friday as a weak front brushes the western south coast. Over the weekend the surface trough will deepen through the Goldfields and Eucla before a new ridge develops near the southwest coast on Sunday and extends along the south coast by Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 21 November
Showers and thunderstorms over most of the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and Interior. Possible light coastal showers between Cape Naturaliste and Denmark.

Forecast for Friday 22 November
Showers and thunderstorms over most of the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, western and northern Interior, northeast Gascoyne and the northern Goldfields. Showers southwest of a line Busselton to Hopetoun.

Forecast for Saturday 23 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior, northeast Goldfields and the northern Eucla.

Forecast for Sunday 24 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, and Interior.

Forecast for Monday 25 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior, southern and eastern Gascoyne and the northern Goldfields. Showers along the southern and Eucla coasts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Friday.
