Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the inland Pilbara, and will move eastwards into the north Interior and Kimberley during Thursday and Friday. A high pressure ridge will develop to the south on Friday and Saturday. The trough will redevelop near the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts on Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A moderate cold front crossing the southwest of the State will weaken during Thursday and move into the Bight. A significant cold airmass lying over the south of the state on Thursday will contract east on Friday as a ridge develops through central parts. The ridge will move to the south coast on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 30 October
Showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay, extending to areas southwest of Kalbarri to Esperance in the evening. Showers and thunderstorms about the north and west Kimberley coast. Showers and thunderstorms about the Eucla and the southwest Interior. Areas of raised dust possible over the Goldfields and Eucla in the early evening.

Forecast for Thursday 31 October
Showers southwest of a line from Carnarvon to Kalgoorlie to Eucla contracting to southwest of Kalbarri to Katanning to Israelite Bay by the evening. Thunderstorms and small hail possible southwest of a line from Perth to Hopetoun. Showers and thunderstorms about the northern Kimberley in the afternoon and evening. Showers and thunderstorms possible about the eastern Eucla and adjacent south Interior. Areas of raised dust possible over the South Interior.

Forecast for Friday 1 November
Showers about southern and western parts of the South West Land Division, extending to remaining parts for a period in the middle of the day. Thunderstorms and small hail possible near the south coast. Showers and thunderstorms about the eastern Eucla district clearing by early afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms about the northern Kimberley in the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Saturday 2 November
Showers about southern and western parts of the South West Land Division. Showers and thunderstorms about the northern Kimberley in the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Sunday 3 November
Showers about coastal parts between Augusta and Esperance, mainly in the morning. Showers and thunderstorms about the northern Kimberley in the afternoon and evening.
