Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends along the Kimberley and east Pilbara coasts and through the central inland Pilbara to the Eucla district and is slowly moving eastwards. The trough will broaden through inland northern parts on Tuesday before another trough moves through the eastern Pilbara and north Interior on Wednesday. A ridge will begin to develop over the south of the state on Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough through the Goldfields and eastern parts of the South West Land Division will continue to move eastwards tonight and on Tuesday. Another trough will develop inland from the west coast on Tuesday before moving eastwards ahead of a moderate cold front that will cross the southwest of the state during Wednesday and Thursday. A significant cold airmass lying over the south of the state on Thursday will contract east on Friday as a ridge develops through central parts.

Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and western Kimberley, far eastern Pilbara and the Interior districts.

Forecast for Tuesday 29 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, east Pilbara, southwest Interior, northern Goldfields and the northeast Goldfields, mainly in the afternoon and evening. Possible showers or thunderstorms over the Eucla district in the afternoon and evening. Light morning showers possible about the South East Coastal and the adjacent Eucla district.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 October
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley coast, mainly in the afternoon and evening. Showers and thunderstorms about the Eucla, eastern Goldfields, southwest Interior and the adjacent Gascoyne. Showers developing during the day southwest of a line Geraldton to Esperance. Very hot and windy through the Goldfields, and adjacent Eucla, Interior, Gascoyne and South East Coastal districts.

Forecast for Thursday 31 October
Showers and thunderstorms about the northern and western Kimberley, mainly in the afternoon and evening. Showers and thunderstorms about the eastern Eucla and adjacent south Interior. Showers southwest of a line from Carnarvon to Kalgoorlie to Eucla contracting to southwest of Geraldton to Israelite Bay in the evening. Thunderstorms and hail possible in southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 1 November
Showers about southern and western parts of the South West Land Division, most likely during the morning and afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms about the Eucla district clearing by early afternoon.
