Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A low pressure trough extends from the central Pilbara through to the Interior. The trough will deepen through the Interior on Monday.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A middle level disturbance is developing through southwestern parts of the State and will move eastwards over southern parts of the State on Saturday and Sunday. A ridge of high pressure will build along the south coast from the west in its wake. A weak cold front will move over the southwest of the state on Sunday and Monday.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 11 October
Showers through areas southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay with thunderstorms possible in the afternoon and evening.
Forecast for Saturday 12 October
Areas of rain over the Great Southern, South East Coastal district and adjacent southern Goldfields and southeast Wheat Belt, easing during the day. Showers and possible thunderstorms over remaining parts of the South West Land Division, far south of the Gascoyne, Goldfields and western Eucla, easing from the west during the day.
Forecast for Sunday 13 October
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the eastern Goldfields, far southern Interior and the Eucla, contracting east during the day and clearing in the evening. Showers developing southwest of a line from Mandurah to Hopetoun during the day.
Forecast for Monday 14 October
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Tuesday 15 October
Showers over southern coastal districts and the adjacent southern Goldfields.
